Respite Care Services

For over ten years we have offered respite care services to individuals living with their families in the community.  Respite Care is a temporary, short-term stay at Josina Lott Residential & Community Services.  

You know you are doing something right when an individual cannot wait for their next visit!

 

 

Families utilize our short-term respite care services when:

Caregivers themselves face health-related concerns
Caregivers must focus their resources on another family member
Caregivers wish to take a vacation and want to assure quality care for their family member

 

Respite care clients are provided with:

Medical services
Programming
Dietary services
Activities and recreational opportunities

 

Eligibility requirements for respite care at Josina Lott

Over 18 years of age
Actively enrolled in a day program
Do not require 24 hour a day nursing care
Completed application*
Recent medical history and physical exam (within 30 days)*
Current psychological report (within 1 year)*

            * Must be submitted at least one week prior to respite care stay
