Enrichment, as defined, is making one rich or richer, fuller, more meaningful, or more rewarding. 

Mindy Hopkins is an example of this.  She came to live here in March 1999 and since that time, has truly blossomed, allowing us to further enrich her life.  She is a person who expresses heart-felt compassion and concern when a caregiver or friend is sick.  Mindy is quick with a smile and a cheery hello to everyone she comes in contact with and seems never to be upset.  She is a friend to many, often sharing hugs with those she holds dear.  “Mindy has found a home here where she is tenderly cared for, loved and nurtured,” said Shelley Miner, Mindy’s mom. 

Not everyone is as fortunate as Mindy to have a family with whom to share their lives and the holidays.  Thanksgiving, traditionally a time to share with family and friends and focus on being grateful for blessings, was no exception here when a small group of individuals shared dinner together.  As they were mentioning what they were thankful for, their home and how much they loved living here was at the top of the list.  Words like these and providing for individuals like Mindy is the mission of Josina Lott. 

For over thirty years, we have strived to enrich and positively impact the lives of individuals just like Mindy.  Watching Mindy and her friends making progress on their goals, and hearing them talk and laugh with one another, it is evident that we are indeed enriching lives.  Within the past year we have experienced a reduction in funding making providing services a delicate balancing act between expenses and revenue obligating us to continue to do more with less. 

Your gift of support to our annual campaign will be used to continue providing quality support services to all of the individuals served by Josina Lott.
