The 8th Annual Lawn Games at Josina Lott Residential & Community Services

Toledo, July 11, 2009 (9:30AM - 11:30AM) Josina Lott Residential & Community Services is celebrating people with intellectual disabilities at their 8th Annual Lawn Games, July 11th from 9:30 am – 11:30am. Individuals with intellectual disabilities and community volunteers compete together in fun athletic events that have been designed so everyone can participate on an equal playing field—learning that people are the same regardless of abilities. We are looking for volunteers to facilitate games and to participate on teams.

We are also offering sponsorship opportunities. This fun competition will feature outdoor games such as the wheelchair/ tandem bicycle obstacle course, water splash, bocce ball, putt putt competition, basketball shoot, brainstorms, and a bean bag toss, ending in an awards ceremony, a picnic, and a silent auction.

The event will take place at the Josina Lott residential campus at 120 S. Holland-Sylvania Road. All interested persons should call Karen Weisman at 419/866-9013 to register.
