In
1987 Semi-independent Living Services were offered to individuals who lived in
the community. By early 1990’s these services evolved into what is known
today as Community Services. It was determined that semi-independent
living was more structured than the population needed.

Our Community
Services Program contracts with individuals who are living independently in
their own home or apartment for services to meet their specific needs. This
means supervising household tasks, such as meal planning and preparation,
money management, and cleaning & laundering, etc. The staff also assists
with transportation, along with recreational and social activities.
